Lichen Sclerosus is a skin condition that creates a discoloration of the skin. The affected skin tends to become whitish and then can become patchy. The skin, over time, becomes thinner in the affected area. If left untreated, lichen can lead to other complications. Most people need some form of treatment.
Any age, or gender can get Lichen Sclerosus (LS), but it mostly seen in the menopause or post menopausal years of women. In women, it affects the vaginal area, and in men it affects the penis. In both, it can someones affect the area around the anus. It can involve any area, but is most often seen in the genitalia area.

Herbs We Use & Why:
- Comfrey: Heals skin tissues
- Calendula: Wound healer, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antibacterial, antiseptic
- Red Clover: Anti-inflammatory, wound healer
- Lavender: Wound healer
- Plantain: Helps reduce itching, skin healer
- Chickweed: Helps reduce itching
- Witch Hazel: Antiseptic, astringent
We add the herbs to apricot, jojoba and sesame oils. The herbs steep in the oils to absorb the beneficial healing benefits of the herbs. We then add beeswax and 100 % pure lavender essential oil. The essential oil acts as a natural wound healer.
Lisepten should be used 3-4 times a day. Can also be used after urination. Be sure not to use the same finger to reapply. This can contaminate the salve. Can use a cotton ball to apply, if area is very sore and tender. For external use only.

Not to be ingested. Stop use if rash or symptoms worsen. Use with adult supervision. If used on broken or abraded skin, be sure to first clean area thoroughly. Do not use if allergic or sensitive to ingredients. Will stain fabrics. Do not use if allergic to the daisy family. Should not be used by those with estrogenic cancers.
