St. John’s Wort is used by herbalists for sciatica and nerve pain. Our St. John’s Wort Healing Salve can also be used as a healing ointment for cuts, scrapes, burns, bug bites, and rashes. Hypericum oil is antiviral, and can be used to treat sore and inflamed skin conditions and is a wonderful wound healer and can also be used to treat bruising.
The beautiful yellow flower of St. John’s Wort contains hypericin. The hypericin gives our organic salve it’s beautiful red color. (TIP: If your St. John’s products don’t have a natural red color, how much pure St. John’s wort do you think is in them?)
St. John’s Wort Healing Salve is made with organic, St. John’s Wort, calendula, and comfrey from our farm, with wild crafted St. John’s wort flowers from the pristine hills of Maine and New Hampshire. The St. John’s Wort flowers are cold pressed for at least six weeks to obtain maximum healing benefit.
Calendula is a great wound healer, and is an antibacterial, antiseptic herb. Comfrey acts as a demulcent, and helps to heal the wound quickly. Chickweed stops the itch, so you don’t scratch.

For external use only. Apply to affected area every 3-4 hours. For Sciatica or other pain, massage into area. For wounds, clear area well. Dab onto wound with cotton ball. Cover wound.
St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum), Calendula (Calendula offincinalis), Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) in Apricot and Almond oils, Chickweed (Stellaria media) in sesame oil, beeswax, and 100% pure lavender essential oil. Essential oil is added as a natural preservative.
